The village of Vlašici is situated in a beautiful bay which is situated on the far south of the island of Pag, distant from Zadar about 45 km. Vlašici was once a fisherman village before it turned into touristic resort. Only 200 people live at Vlašici during the winter months. This number rises in summer time and during weekends. The center of this small picturesque place is a square called Kulina nearby the church built before 100 years. The most beautiful place to be is the sandy beach 800 m long. It is suitable for small children because of the shallow entrance in the water. At the end of the beach lays a small harbour for little boats and provides good shelter from wind. During the turistic season 2 supermarkets are open, and near the water two restaurants serve pizza and Croatian grilled specialities. There is also a bar and a fast food. This area can offer you long walks and rides with the bicycles with minimum of traffic. That is why families with children choose Vlašici. There are other resorts nearby that are nice to visit and make short trips like Metajna, Košljun, Kolan, Povljana, Dinjiška, Mandre, Stara Novalja.
